You'd be hard-pressed to find someone who believed in Linsanity less than I did, but to say that he still can't be a good PG and saying that a team only signed him for the publicity that comes with him is incredibly foolish, especially because they had a need at the position.

He's a 23 year old PG who averaged 14 and 6 in just 27 MPG. Those numbers Per-36 are 19.6 PPG and 8.3 APG. I know that it would also be 5 TOPG but a lot of those turnovers came when he was the only healthy player on the Knicks who was actually able to dribble the ball without losing it.

23 year old points who can get 19 and 8 are a rare breed.

Linsanity was just Tebow Time in disguise.
And now that Tebow is in NY, he doesnt need Lin anymore

I'll take Lin over Courtney Fortson and Earl Boykins, who we were left with and neither belongs in the NBA.

Didn't get to see much of Earl Boykins last year but in 2010-11 he could still play and I know he keeps himself in great shape.

So idk how he doesn't belong in the NBA.
