Don't have a link but just saw on SportsCenter that Ricky Williams has passed Ronnie Brown on the Dolphins Depth Chart and will start their next pre-season game.

I saw this a few days ago. But I had heard that an injury was responsible for it, not that Williams was just better.

Ricky Williams is #1 because Ronnie Brown has suffered a sprained thumb. Lets not get carried away now, lol.

Then how come there are rumors about Ronnie Brown being traded by week 1 now?

They said that Ronnie Brown hasn't ran the same since the injury last season.

But it's nice to see Ricky back as a starter, I hope he can stay clean and do some good stuff this year.

Then how come there are rumors about Ronnie Brown being traded by week 1 now?
Dolphins coach Tony Sparano shot down a rumor on Tuesday that the club is looking to trade RB Ronnie Brown, as was suggested by ESPN’s Chris Mortensen on “Monday Night Countdown.”

“No chance that we’re trading Ronnie,” Sparano said. “There was no discussion of that internally or externally. None.”

Brown is about 10 months removed from tearing his ACL, and he’s struggled to make an impact in the team’s two preseason games, amassing just six yards on five carries. Adding to the speculation is the strong start by Ricky Williams, who looks to have recaptured at least some of his former greatness after drug-related suspensions had many wondering if he’d ever be a dependable back again.

Ricky was pretty good before everything started to happen to him. I thought he was one of the best RB's in the league before he got caught.
