knowing the pats and raiders luck, watch this be like the #2 pick in the draft

we only gave up a 2nd for Vrabel and Cassell
Cassell isn't worth a first so the deal is fine and Vrabel is nearing the end. But neither is Seymour.

talk about the Raiders being at the short end of that stick.

Looks like Al Davis just wanted to bring in the big name from 3 or 4 years ago....

I think its fair to say the New England Patriots are now the Yankees of the NFL, but instead of throwing money out at FA's they just pwn the stupid and weaker teams

What do you mean 3 or 4 years ago? He has his best season of his career last season.

He tied, not broke, his career high in sacks. He first had 8 sacks in 2003..as well as his career high in tackles (57)

Tom Cable says Seymour will be used as an end the majority of the team at the least.

It's established, via Peter King of SI.com, that former Patriots defensive lineman Richard Seymour is "angry" about the trade that sent him into football's literal and figurative Black Hole.

A good friend of Seymour's told King on Sunday, "I would not be surprised if he doesn't report."

We've heard the same sentiment. So the source posed a great question.

What happens if Seymour doesn't show?

How dare you shame the name of a great storied franchise like the Yankees by comparing them to a team that has cheated their way to their last three superbowl wins, and when they didn't cheat, they lost.
