Maybe there will be an emotional documentary on ESPN in a few years about how he's so sorry and he's become a changed man and then some team will sign him and he'll be a comeback story.

I hope he doesn't find another job, but I feel like he will eventually.
Unless he gets the perma-ban lol.

I don't think they should perma-ban him for it tbh. It's a big deal but if they gave Vick a second chance I think they'll give Rice one too, assuming Rice does/says all the right things from here on out.

I don't think he will, but I could see Goodell setting an example with him.

Like someone else already mentioned in this thread, he seemed to be already beginning to die the quick death that comes with the short lifespan of a running back.  I don't think he's afforded the time in his body's clock to make a comeback.  Even if he did a bunch of great and charitable shit and repaired his image as much as he could and got his ban lifted after next season, I think it's likely that he wouldn't have the raw talent required anymore to make an NFL team.

Think that's a little much, but I won't say you're wrong.

He had a bad year, was hampered with injuries.

I thought he was poised to bounce back this year before all this

Only form of media from TMZ that I would believe is audio and video that gets confirmed. Any "report" from then should be taken with a grain of salt

One thing that I feel must have not happened, in my opinion, is that they saw the tape and didn't do anything further.  In that situation, they would have to know that there would be so much risk involved because in the probability that the tape did become public, they would be one huge ass duck sitting on a pond waiting for a bullet.

My question is, if they just didn't want to acquire the tape by design so when this day came they could say "we never saw the tape".

police who have worked for the nba and nfl as security have said that goodells staff are very passive when it comes to this stuff. they just brush stuff off because of the media.
