not sure how many people really care but...

I get what the NFL is trying to do here, but from a design standpoint, I think this was poorly executed overall

Here are higher res pics of the new postseason logos

Yeah, I think I posted these when the NFL first unveiled the shit last offseason. I hate the whole monochromatic approach the NFL is taking here, I mean they look cool now, but they will get old. I actually like the NFL's traditional style playoff logos we're used to seeing and I always looked forward to seeing what the Super Bowl logo was going to look like each year. There's been some good, some horrendous...but now we're stuck with the same shit for years to come.

They will get old, fast.

The AFC and NFC championships aren't bad. The rest is hideous.

I also think the stars in the NFC and AFC logos could have been MUCH better executed. The different angles and kerning just bothers me. I think even putting the stars above or below the letters (Probably below) In the color of the Conference with a white stroke would look better, at least imo.

he also brings up a good point about the super bowl patches. All of the super bowl logos up until this one have been horizontal. IDK how this one will look since its taller and skinnier as opposed to wider and shorter

I like the new look, very modern. The Super Bowl one is sick.

Smh. You must not know anything about logo design. The scalability is HORRID as evidenced by how it looked on a football. On a jersey it will be even worse.

The gradients are a trend that will get old in a year or two. It doesn't have "lastibilty" so to speak. Not to mention the logo WILL NOT work when u start getting higher up in Roman Numerals.

Also I would say it's safe to say the NFL was extremely lazy in differentiating not only the conferences but also the round of the playoffs it lacks any creativity. The NFL could have done leaps and bounds better but choose to take the easy way out

I wonder what'll happen when we get to superbowl 50 (roman numeral "L")
lol
as I said before, I get what the NFL's trying to do, but this was horribly executed in my opinion. It takes away the fun of seeing the new super bowl logo each year. Now we kno its gonna be gray with the lombardi trophy and the stadium in the background. I like the NFC and AFC Championship logo's tho...the super bowl logo isnt bad but its gonna get old quick and Im not a big fan of the fact that its more vertical than horizontal. The rest of the logos are just pretty horrible imo
