While I don't disagree that he isn't the brightest owner, I don't really think this move shows that. Why do you say that?

because josh smith was all him? wanted us to go out and sign a guy he thought would be a quick fix, now he waives him outright. that'd pretty damn stupid.

Well, if bringing him on was his move than yeah that is stupid.
But I don't think this move is stupid of him.

this just makes him look stupider. im not saying doing this is stupid lol. what's going to be stupid is maxing greg because he's not worth a max.

we should try to keep him, though, or still trade him for the best deal we get.

if we max greg, how much cap would we have after?

As far as I know we will have 30 million to spend next off-season. Not too sure how much a max for him would be though.

Probably another 15 million I'd assume left over. While I don't think he is a max player, with the CAP rising how it is suppose to I don't really mind giving it to him.

Close to half of that.

he's not worth a max at all and we can't afford to have him and dre maxed. plus we'll have a rookie in there. i think this does show we're committed to having him and dre work. maybe he takes a discount?

IDK, I think he is still as good as gone. Don't think he's going to change his mind because of this.

Monroe is gone. He is disinterested in being on this team.

neither do i. i still don't think he and dre fit and it's a big waste of money to force them to fit.

We will find out soon lol. This is like their first true time starting together, which is kind of sad if you think about it.

While we know they probably wont fit, the two of them never really got a chance to start games together without the inclusion of Smith.
