I think you can win with Jennings, pending he's like your 4th best starter, possibly 3rd, with a sizable gap from him and those above him

Yep I was thinking bout that the other day. Used to be a really nice rivalry. Now both teams are pathetic.

Should be entertaining this year.

But yeah I miss pistons and Cavs fun.

Both teams need new starts, new uniforms, and another star. Drummond and say, Wiggins or Parker would be nasty.  As would Parker and Kyrie.

Also you guys need to go back to that sweet horse logo you had a while back. I thought that was the coolest logo in sports.

I'd die happy if we landed Parker or Wiggins.

But I've been saying for a while now we need to bring the horse back. Our logo now is boring.

It is. I hate it. The colors and team name are so sad. It's a shame.

And as much as I love the Cavs, I think the best thing for us is to lose this year, and get another pick. The injury bug hit us at the worst time. I don't think we can recover.

Yeah. I was pumped about him coming back, but he just doesn't have it. I love his defensive philosophy because you need that to win in the NBA but everything else, he's lacking on.

Pistons always signing dudes for waaaay more money than they're worth. Gordon. Villanueva. Smith. Jennings.

We'll give you Jack for Drummond :)

I know you were kidding, but I was just thinking that there's probably less than 10 players in the NBA I'd trade Drummond for.  The number is probably closer to 5 than 10, too.

No its not terrible, but i never looked at Jennings as a 'winning' player. He takes a TON of shots to get his points, and has never been a very good shooter.

Jennings is quite literally one of the least efficient volume shooters in NBA history.  I think his contract is bad because I don't even want to pay him the Michigan minimum wage which is $7.40 per hour.

No way.  So what's his expectation on a nightly basis with that role?  Nothing he does or has ever done suggests he could fill a role like that.  He's a sub-par defender, and although his assists totals are much higher this season than they have ever been in his career, his turnovers are always high enough to where he doesn't offer a very good assist/TO ratio.  Suggesting he could be a 4th best starter as a PG is basically suggesting he could be a distributor, spot scorer and decent defender.  That's just not what he is.  He's a high volume shooter and if you take away his ability to put up a high volume of shots, you take away his entire identity as an NBA player.

Damn, I'm a hoops junkie but baseball is always more near and dear to my heart.  Tigers/Indians should be pretty good this year, better than it has been in seasons past.  Unless one of a few different things that could happen, happen, the Tigers are probably a little worse than they were last season.  I think the Indians have just gotten better.

I've been saying for like two years the Pistons need to redesign everything.

Yeah...  Would have been really nice to give a new GM a very clean slate with a ton of money under the salary cap and a roster that would result in a very high lotto pick as tools to build around Andre Drummond, but instead the team decided to keep employing Joe Dumars before the past off-season as a lame-duck which resulted in a gigantic mess.

The Pistons logo and colors is on of the best in all of sports!  Can't believe people are wanting to bring the horse back which is associated with the teal era.  What is that even, a pegasus?  Why don't you toss a unicorn horn on it too?

The teal colors sucked but the horsepower was great.

No way man.  The red, white and blue logo of simply "Detroit Pistons" over a basketball is a staple logo of the NBA or any league in American sports.  If anything, I think they should go back to the old logo.
