I would put JJ on the list too.

And you obviously underrate it. Pierce ranks 6th among all active players in PPG with 23.1. He's a good rebounder for his size averaging a career 6.4 per, as well as about 4 assists per. He's also a great defender. I don't understand why you don't think he's Top 10, it almost is embarassing that you think people like Melo, Roy, and JJ are better.

He never had other scorers on his team until now, that explains his 23.1

His career PPG is blown up b/c he's been on the Celtics all his career, and up until last year was on a sub par team.


And I wouldnt say "great defender" he plays hard defense. But he's not a great defender, he isnt the player the Celtics use to shut down other teams' first option.

I hate Paul Pierce with a passion but:

JJ + Josh Smith + Bunch of scrubs < PP+ KG+ Allen + plenty of reliable role players

Pierce almost scored more than JJ with a much more reliable team.

Then how'd are series go to seven games? and the key word is almost. When JJ gets more expirence with leading a team I promise you he'll still score more and how long has Pierce been the main scoring option on the team compared to how long JJ has?

Switcht their teams and PP averages 25-27 PPG while JJ is the 3rd option on the Celtics with about 17-19 per game...

IMO JJ is better Pierce has shoulders to lean on JJ gets all the attention of the defense
