When the final whistle blew on the Philadelphia Eagles' season Saturday night, the trade rumors regarding Michael Vick heated up. Vick's performance against the Cowboys was a microcosm of his life over the past year; ups (a 76-yard TD strike to Jeremy Maclin) and downs (a lost fumble in the second quarter). The team is likely already soliciting offers for him in trade because based on his current pact with the Eagles, he's due a $1 million roster bonus if he's still with the team in March.

Responding to a fellow fellow Twitter user, NFL writer Adam Caplan tweeted recently that "#Raiders make some sense for Vick". The Raiders were one of the teams mentioned before the mid-season trade deadline, too, but maybe now that the JaMarcus Russell experiment has failed yet again, the team will re-consider.

Vick told the Philadelphia Inquirer that he wants to be a starter, but would be fine sticking in Philly as a backup. For $5 million, we're sure he would be.

Watch for Cleveland as a sleeper now that Holmgren is there

I think a good place for Vick since he wants to be a starter is somewhere such as St. Louis Rams, Oakland Raiders, and the Cleveland Browns. These are the only three teams that are probably desperate enough to pick up Vick despite all the bad media coverage they will get. My best bet is for him to go to the Oakland Raiders

don't rule out Buffalo, either.
they had several QB problems and will have new coach -- could use Vick to TO as a selling point for fans

I thought at the beginning of all of this the Panthers would majke a push for him but with the emergence of Matt Moore I doubt it happens.

I would love to see Vick start again, he still looks a little frail though. But Im with Rockstar just not the black hole in Oakland.

I don't see Michael Convick going anywhere. Losing QB's and people need to stay together, and that is what McChoke and Convick will do.

Michael Convick and McChoke won more games then the New York Midgets.

My bet is the Rams. They wanted Locker, but he went back, and Clausen can't be trusted #1 overall. They should and probably will take Suh, and then I see them trading a 2nd for Vick. That way, they get a safe player 1 overall, and a playmaking QB.

Michael Vick's best situation lies in St. Louis. We're talking about a team that is trying to re-establish itself, rebuild and who better to come in now at the quarterback position and potentially spark an offense that had a hard time scoring points this season? One thing that would concern me about Vick playing in St. Louis is how mediocre of a state their offensive line is in but being forced out of the pocket is where Vick is at his best. If St. Louis can snag a Marcus Floyd or even Kevin Walter in the off-season, I'd like the combo of Vick and Steven Jackson in that backfield.

Vick to Oakland is always possible, Vick to Buffalo won't happen (T.O. is now a free agent himself), and Cleveland, meh, I don't think he's Holmgren's style. One thing I do know is that Philadelphia isn't gonna pick up a $5M option b/c of 1, 76-yard touchdown pass. The guy was a total non-factor in their offense about 99% of the season. Philly would bring him in when their offense was driving and then leave him on the sidelines when it seemed they could move the ball and craved some sort of a spark. Philly rolls with McNabb in 2010 and from what we saw of Kolb earlier in the year, he's on his way to succeed McNabb.
