My god... Hallday-Lee-Oswalt-Hamels

Where does this rank with the greatest rotations of all-time? Could it be better than Maddux-Glavine-Smoltz?

I would certainly put them higher, simply because there is 4 of them.

Actually we should just complete this rotation.

Halladay - Lee - Greinke - Hamals - Oswalt

The funny thing is, if they wanted to, they could get him.

Thank you Cliff, finally someone who realizes that 100+ million is 100+ million... The guy turned down 160 million and took 120 million, oh my god how will he survive with that? He went where he wanted to go. Just glad he's not in New York.

Phillies vs Red Sox in the World Series. No one else stands a chance.

<Censored> my life and <Censored> Cliff Lee.
Typical post by a fair-weather fan. Hopefully you didn't bruise your ass on the fall off of the bandwagon...

Yankees over the Philthies in 5.

I agree with this real ass post

I'm so happy he's back in Philly. Thats a deadly rotation as it is but now it might be the best in the league, we'll have to see how it plays out in 2011 but definitely the best on paper.

Thank you Cliff for <Censored>ting on those dicks in New York

Why are you celebrating this Shell? This hurt the Giants' more than it does the Yankees.

Colin Cowherd (ESPN Radio) raised a great point this morning: Cliff Lee's son is in remission of Leukemia & Philadelphia has the top pediatrics clinic in the United States.

1. I actually like the Phillies and 2. I'm not afraid of Cliff Lee lol. The Giants handled him so I'm not worried about facing him when it counts

Yes, the Giantsdid handle him last season. However, Cliff Lee anchoring Rangers rotation is a far cry from Cliff Lee as part of a rotation that features Halladay, Oswalt, and Hamels.

That second sentence is exactly why everyone, outside of Philly, has to be afraid of this deal...if anything at least slightly afraid.

According to SportsCenter, only other rotation that statistically has been better than those 4 played this past season was '05 Astros. Clemens, Oswalt, Pettitte.

I still say Phillies got 'em beat by a mile.

I am sick to my stomach. Cliff Lee is not human. He turned down $61M and totally defeated the purpose of MLB free agency.

Yes, Cliff Lee was a lock for the Yankees...I mean who f**k turns down that kind of money? I knew Cliff Lee loved Philly and had it been known that they were in on the guy, I wouldn't of been so confident. Ruben Amaro Jr. is the God damn greatest GM alive. A little over a year ago, this guy was negotiating a deal for either Halladay or Lee, and w/o having to give up Dom Brown. Fast-forward to now....he's got all 3.

Just crown 'em...crown 'em right now!!!
Lmao, so much for your players cant resist the Yankees money theory. Damn it man, we have to deal with them every year and now they are the best team in baseball without a doubt. I dont care how bad their lineup got, they have the best rotation in baseball. How the hell are we going to compete with that juggernaut.....
