NFL.com - The Chiefs are set to host Peyton Hillis for a visit this week.

Kansas City offensive coordinator Brian Daboll ran the Cleveland offense in 2010, when Hillis emerged from the shadows with 1,177 yards and nine touchdowns.

UPDATE: Signed

The Chiefs agreed to contract terms today with running back Peyton Hillis. The 250-pound Hillis is the big back the Chiefs wanted to rotate with Jamaal Charles.

Hillis played two seasons for Denver and two for Cleveland. His best season happened in 2010 for the Browns, whose offensive coordinator was Brian Daboll. Daboll recently became the coordinator for the Chiefs.

Hillis rushed for 1,177 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2010 and also caught 61 passes. Bothered by injuries last season, he played in only 10 games and ran for 587 yards.

Jamaal Charles fucked up my fantasy football season last year, thats all I gotta say about that. This is a good signing if Peyton is motivated to play.

Charles screwed mine too, but I think I was able to pick up someone to replace him. I don't remember.

As for this, that should be a nice 1-2 for KC, when they are healthy.

That could be quite the tandem if both can get going and stay going.
