No you go for 3. 2 minutes and 30 seconds left and your team has two timeouts. How is that not enough time? Had coughlin had done that and the Patriots went 3 and out, there would have been around a mintue twenty left with the Giants getting the ball back. And like I said that if they would've recovered the onside kick, they would have had 2 timeouts and the ball with 2:30 on the clock.

He made the wrong call.

its not enough time b/c our defense didnt stop them all night. Be serious, how the hell were we going to make them go three and out when we couldnt do it all night? what makes you think we would have done it the time we needed it most?

And that is a big "IF" as you saw we didnt get the onside kick.

Plus NFL teams can kill 2:30 off the clock very, very quickly.

"The Eagles, Ravens, Giants and Colts all had the Patriots beat, but it was a combination of injuries, bad calls from refs, and just stupid plays that gave the Pats the win. Sure, they won in the end, but I think that those 4 teams lost, but the Patriots didn't win."

Are you guys serious? I am hearing a ton of b*tching and at the same time, I am hearing a lot of "ifs", "ands" and "buts". Like I have said before, none of that sh*t matters...the Patriots are 16-0 and the best team in league, like it or not.

Even when they had all odds stacked against them, they found a way to win. You can credit the Ravens blown coverage in 4th quarter, the Colts marquee WR's injuries, or the Eli's interception, as examples of those team's losing...rather than the Patriots winning...but at the end of the day, New England got a "w" in those games.

I hate the entire Boston area and all the sports teams that surround it more than anyone. But even I, a life-long New Yorker am not half as bitter as most of you when it comes to this topic. Maybe it's just me, a Yankees fan, understanding a dynasty when it comes around...or maybe it's the fact that I don't like to make excuses...either way...the New England Patriots are better than all of our teams and that's just the way it is.

At that point of the game you can't look at it that way. You got to trsut your defense. They committed suicide by going for the touchdown. They had better chances kicking a field goal. now they have 2:30 to get the ball/score instead of 1 minute.

If I remember right, the Colts were missing more players. I think an Olineman and either a DB or a LB.

The Colts were actually without Harrison and Tony Ugoh. Anthony Gonzalez went down in the first quarter.

The Colts still had a chance to win but remember Manning's fumble that cost Indy the chance to go ahead late in the game?

3 games away from going down as the best team of all-time in NFL history.

According to ESPNs poll most people said that this team is not the greatest team in NFL history.
