‘I’ll be great by September. I know I’m on the trading block, so we’ll see what happens.’ Blair makes no attempt to hide his feelings when he discusses his diminished role in the playoffs, including his belief he might be better off elsewhere. ‘I love the Spurs, but they’ve got a lot of bigs, and they’re bringing somebody else from overseas, so where am I going to fall at?’ he said. ‘I was out of the rotation at the end of the season, so imagine next year. That’s something I really don’t want to go through again, because it tore me down.’
It’s no surprise that DeJuan Blair may be moved prior to the trade deadline on February 21. The San Antonio Spurs have been shopping him for quite some time, and nearly traded him in June. In the days leading up to the 2012 NBA Draft, the Spurs spoke to a number of teams about the 23-year-old big man. They nearly sent Blair to the Miami HEAT, but the deal fell apart. Now, San Antonio is once again shopping Blair and seeing what teams are willing to offer. HoopsWorld

You misunderstood me, or perhaps I didn't explain it well. I'm talking about players dictating WHERE they want to be traded. Not asking for trades, etc. That happens all the time.

And DeJaun Blair is an irrelevant player. It doesn't matter.

He's irrelevant because it contradicted everything you said.

The NBA has always been a star driven league. This isn't some new development. And it's hilarious that you're using the Spurs as an example, when they had three stars during their title runs. One of those stars released a rap album, married a TV star, got divorced and was injured in a Drake-Chris Brown fight. No ego here.
