I think he played in High School.

Would love to hear his comments on this. Gotta be intriguing, no? Cleveland.... San Diego.... tough choice.

If a team drafted Tebow next year... would he actually sign?

He's not eligible for the draft.

These are always stupid storylines and I hope things like this stop getting mainstream headlines.

This dude can't even play baseball anymore, why is this relevant

With how many picks there are in the MLB draft, I 100% believe I could have gotten drafted had I stuck with baseball all the way through high school. Shit is nuts how many rounds there are.

I don't even understand the point of all the rounds. Some guys get drafted like 3 times before they go to an mlb team anyways.

Most people who get drafted that late are players teams know they can't sign. It doesn't make much financial sense to sign as a draft pick that late instead of going to college, or just in general. Minor league players get paid as much as a cashier.

But that's the point. If teams aren't going to sign em why have so many picks?

BTW whoever has to "announce" those picks after round 10 must hate his job.

They don't really announce it. It's basically just a conference call.

I read a bit on fangraphs that the signing bonus for a 32nd rd pick is like 1000 bucks or something like that.

Michael Vick got drafted too when he came out of college too. Feel bad for all the players trying to get drafted and don't, but instead they pick a guy that will never set foot on baseball diamond. All about the media and the rights to say they drafted Vick/Manziel
