Packers Cut Martellus Bennett

Apparently he failed to disclose a medical issue. Packers paid him a $6.3M signing bonus and Im sure theyll fight to recoup most of it.

Vikings dodged a bullet. He came to Minny during the offseason and I wanted him to sign.

...and to the surprise of no one, Bennett was claimed by the Patriots. Will be curious to see how they utilize him with Gronk. Bare in mind Dwayne Allen was brought in as the 2nd TE & has zero receptions on the year. Bennett still has a bum shoulder too.

Dwayne Allen has zero catches because hes awful and was supplanted in the depth chart by a UDFA out of Wyoming

Having Bennett will hopefully remedy having only 3 active WRs right now (Cooks, Amendola, Dorsett)

Bennett told GB he needed season ending shoulder surgery despite the team Dr telling him he was fine. Now he goes back to NE and he's all healed? Something is super fishy here
