Why wouldn't they want to become better?

Lol seriously, that team isn't that bad. They should be getting Rondo back in a few weeks, and unless they get extremely lucky, which is extremely unlikely, they won't get Wiggins, Randle, Parker, Smart, etc.

I don't see Rondo play many games this season at all. What's the point? An eighth or seventh seed? Pretty much every loss counts for them.

Unless they move him in a trade, Rondo will play as many games as he can for the Celtics lol

Their viewpoint is the complete opposite of fans.

Then why did they get rid of KG and PP?

Because they knew their title contending years were over, so why not start over? But that doesn't mean they're just going to start playing for losses. Anyone that has watched this team, or the majority of NBA teams, know most teams will play their hardest and go for wins.

Sure there are some teams that are so shitty and pathetic that they actually do tank, but Boston isn't one of those teams.

That's because nobody in their right mind goes out on the court to lose a game. These are all competitors that want to prove their worth. But I highly doubt any Celtics exec's are ecstatic about the wins they have gotten thus far.

Even if they can't successfully "tank", one thing Boston can do is tell their best player to take his sweet time to come back. Especially after seeing what Rose has done.

That won't happen. The Celtics management and Rondo himself are already saying he's close.

When he's ready, he returns. Nobody will keep him from doing that, and nobody will try.

Like any bad teams, they're going to treat any injury with extreme caution, and the timetable is going to be longer, because it doesn't make sense to rush anyone back.

The Celtics as a team are 16th in offensive rebounding, 30th in defensive rebounding, 25th in total rebounding.
thats 100% false. B/R is a lot more reliable than whatever bs data source you use

Why are we even discussing the Celtics in this? They're not a good team, Asik makes no sense for them.
THANK YOU

If you are referring to basketball reference then it's 18th and 30th.

Tell Rondo to take his sweet time because or Rose's scenario?

Rose just showed every athlete under the sun how not to go about recovery.

Yeah, let's act like we know exactly what would have happened if Rose had returned last season.
