WWE Officials Upset with Tyler Breeze
PWInsider reports that recently Tyler Breeze asked WWE for permission to leave a recent television taping early. WWE officials were reportedly upset and it now appears that Breeze has backstage heat on him for this.
The feeling is that Breeze was just called up from NXT to the main roster and is already disrespecting the business. There were several talking about the situation.
As noted in last week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Vince McMahon has given up on Breeze. Triple H wanted to protect him when he first and saw him as a top heel in the company, however Vince is not convinced.
Brock Lesnar vs Braun Strowman
Rumors have surfaced that Braun Strowman is being heavily considered as a potential opponent for Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania in Dallas. Normally, WWE would prefer to have Lesnar paired up against a big name performer so that they can draw in more of an audience. However, it appears that they might be willing to take a gamble on Strowman because of his sheer size. The match probably would not last very long, and Brock would come out on top.
Several WWE Hall Of Fame Inductees Leaked
Apparently a rumored list of WWE Hall of Fame names for the 2016 class has surfaced online via WhatCulture.com.
The report claims that a “high up WWE source” had leaked the following names for this year:
* JBL
* Jacqueline
* The Freebirds
* The Godfather
* Regis Philbin
Hopefully we have an update on the authenticity of this list soon.
It just seems to me like Strowman comes off so awkward in the ring and even going down to take bumps, he seems off. Am I losing my mind here in wondering why WWE would make such a potential investment in him?
Backstage Insight On How Vince McMahon Wants To Present Braun Strowman On Television
Braun Strowman could be matched up with Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 32, a report has claimed.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, there is a ‘strong push’ for the singles encounter behind the scenes.
Strowman, who has yet to lose, has been mostly utilized in multi-person tag matches alongside stablemates Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan since his debut on the main roster the night after SummerSlam.
While answering some reader questions on Friday, Johnson said that while the match is not locked in, Vince McMahon is so behind Strowman that it could happen. He also offered some insight from behind the scenes on how McMahon wants to present Strowman on television.
I
s it true you guys reported Braun Strowman vs. The Undertaker for WrestleMania is a lock?
Don’t you think such a match would be far too high profile for Strowman if such?
No, that was never, ever reported. What was discussed in audio shows in the Elite section was that there was a push for that match for Mania and that Vince McMahon is very much behind Strowman and is heavily involved in how he is being presented and pushed. We’ve reported that it’s obvious that the Wyatts were being put so strongly over the Dudleys to build them for Lesnar, but we never said Strowman vs. Brock was 100% locked in. We said that Vince is so behind him that it could very well happen. Anyone crediting that to PWInsider would be incorrect. It could quite possibly be Brock vs. Bray or Brock vs. Luke Harper etc.
It might very well be. Strowman is very limited right now, but we hear from people within the company that he’s very much improving and is also presented the way that Vince McMahon wants him to be presented right now, so he’s not showcasing everything he can due to the nature of the character. The lack of experience isn’t a factor if WWE believes they can build and make money with him. Plus, he’s never going to get experience if they don’t put him in situations where he gets it.

"In the last few weeks, rumors have swirled about AJ Styles, his future and TNA Wrestling. Fans have asked for the status and wrestling media have made numerous inquiries.
For the past several months, AJ and TNA were involved in serious discussions to bring him back home to TNA. Creative discussions escalated and two additional wrestlers, Drew Hankinson and Chad Allegra, were enthusiastically added.
These discussions culminated on December 14th in Nashville, Tenn., where all attended a meeting at Dixie Carter's home. A handshake and written deal between AJ, Drew, Chad and TNA was agreed upon and signed by all. Start dates were determined, creative decided, merchandise designed and plane tickets purchased.
Over the Christmas holiday, and after the lawyers finalized the long form agreement, all communication with TNA stopped.
AJ's lawyer contacted TNA and stated the wrestlers had changed their mind and would not be honoring their commitment to TNA."
