Possible Candidates to Capture the WWE Title at Survivor Series
As noted earlier, WWE announced that Seth Rollins will not be able to defend the World Heavyweight Championship title against Roman Reigns at Survivor Series event due to suffering an injury at Wednesday’s WWE Live Event. Instead, a tournament to determine a new champion will be held.
 
Dave Meltzer speculated on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Live that Roman Reigns is a strong candidate to capture the WWE title at Survivor Series. Meltzer also talked about the company possibly bringing back John Cena or Brock Lesnar earlier than scheduled.
 
In regards to Sheamus capturing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, he said it’s not very likely.
