it's disgusting how they treat the fans.
The Ziggler, Wyatt, and Ambrose eliminations were literally three "Fuck you's" right from Vince.

And the Shattered Dreams right after DB went out.

I don't even like Daniel Bryan but damn.

One thing we didn't address was the way the WWE eliminated Wyatt, Ziggler, Ambrose, etc.

Fucking disgusting. It was almost like "Fuck all of your favorites who got over on their own. They can't stand up to Kane/Show. But guess who can!!!"
You're right about the other guys, but let's not act like WWE just one day said, "this is Roman Reigns. Like him or else." and then we all did

Also, I can't imagine the cancellation page crashed from volume. My guess they took it down when the cancellations came pouring in lmao

I think there would be less backlash if The One Man Band won the rumble.

I just meant that comment comes off as if he did nothing prior and wasn't already over with the fans and they chose this spot to "make" him.

He's done nothing to get over by himself. All his pop comes from the shield. Hence why he still has the same music, the same attire, the same entrance, etc.

Being in the Shield, ironically, shielded him. He got over as an athletic powerhouse with a good look. He didn't have to cut lengthy promos, didn't have to show good wrestling skills in singles matches, and he was in a good stable that most people liked. They should have waited to see how he was as a singles performer before they made the predetermined decision to make him the new face of their company.

Daniel Bryan is what they want him to become, which is why it's puzzling that they ignored Daniel Bryan's popularity again.

Because he wasn't a member of that group? He got over in that group and then the group split. So they gave him a shot to get over outside the group, which I'd say was his dominance in the Rumble last year, and guess what? He got over again. Then he got hurt, it derailed, and now they forced him back in there. I'm not saying Reigns should be "the guy". Frankly, and it's pretty evident in every aspect outside of his look, he's not ready. That doesn't mean he can't be.

But regardless of all that, the fact of the matter is that we're blaming Reigns for something he's not in control of. It's creative/booking's fault they screwed the pooch two years running.

I wouldn't say we are blaming Reigns, but just because it's not fault doesn't mean we can't voice extreme displeasure and rip him. Quite frankly it's the only way to get the point across, as fans can't exactly get in touch with Vince and the creative team.

This is the ultimate test to see if things will change though. In the past fans couldn't immediately voice their displeasure other than venting on a message board. They would still tune in to Raw the next day and buy the following PPV. Now fans can unsubscribe from the Network in that moment of anger, which the WWE has put all its eggs into the basket for. This is suppose to be the season in which subs go up in numbers for Mania. If it goes down, they have serious problems

Fair point. In honesty, I really only took exception to the point of him not getting over on his own.

Anyone other than Bryan winning was not going to go over well. Reigns, though, was the worst choice (unless they somehow got Cena in there and he won) because it was a case of "their guy" winning over "your guy".

The real shame is that no one cares about Curtis Axel because, for once, they could turn a continuity blunder into a legitimate storyline.

I think in their "rules" it states that you have to be in the area or something by the last elimination or you forfeit. Its something along those lines to avoid that kind of storyline.

If the sub drop was big enough I bet Reigns loses his wrestlemania spot at Fast Lane to Bryan in a match.

Guid, to your point of lasts year's rumble, I think reigns' massive cheers in the rumble last year were due to the fans wanting an alternative to Batista. Similar to this year with the fans chanting "We want Rusev" simply because he was an alternative to roman.

The WWE made the same mistake twice, but this one is even worse because at least we knew Batista was main event ready

I don't think anyone winning would have caused the same reaction. Those fans weren't idiots. They knew roman was slotted to win. Had Ambrose won, the place would've went ballistic. Same with Ziggler.
