So was that a Brock Lesnar face turn?
You must not have picked up on the recent theme of call ups getting buried. The only recent call up that hasn't been buried is Paige and that's because they needed someone to take the belt from AJ when she went away for awhile.elcheato said:The Ascension being "buried" on commentary was clearly to build up to last night (which was a segment the crowd loved, and most fans), and they're obviously going to beat the New Age Outlaws at the rumble. Calm down

Them beating "locals" was burying them in my opinion too. They really have done nothing to help them since they came up. If I was booking, I would've had them interrupt the Uso/Mizdow tag team title match that night, OR if you REALLY had to give the Uso's the belt, attack the Uso's during their speech after. Would've established them as heels and a threat to the belt right away.elcheato said:I've seen some NXT. I think its good but they have much less pressure, they're not live and naturally have more freedom. They don't have to advertise, appeal to multiple demographics, etc... They're wrestling heavy, which works for some people but I like the talkers, which is why I don't like the Ascension.
The "burying" is the best thing for them. This will get them noticed much more quickly then squashing and beating irrelevant tag teams in a weak division. Putting them against legends, it's a great idea if they're behind them
BEGGING for Ascension vs. this team at Mania hahaBig Bid'Ness said:A certain Tag team might be returning sunday at the Rumble
For the record, people said Heath Slater was being elevated when he was getting jobbed out to all the legends too, and look how that ended up.elcheato said:It would show a lack of faith in them for sure, which I wouldn't blame them. I don't think they're interesting, but they're definitely going over.
