Backstage News Regarding Christian’s Contract with WWE
As noted earlier, it was mentioned on tonight’s WWE RAW by Jerry Lawler that Christian is retired.
 
This was not an error by Lawler. Due to Christian’s string of injuries and concussions, he’s now considered “retired” as an in-ring performer by the company.
 
Christian has about a year left on his current WWE contract.

Fans Unhappy at WWE Event

- Reader Jerry Oakes sent word that there were several fans upset at last night’s WWE live event in Richmond, Virginia. Jerry noted that they knew there would be a limited roster because it was running at the same time as RAW but he says the show lasted less than 2.5 hours and that’s with a 20 minute intermission.

 
Hahaha thats what happens when you run a live even and Raw at the same time. One show is going to be half assed.

Edge and Christian file a “multi million dollar lawsuit” against WWE


It was announced on WWE Main Event that Edge and Christian have filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against WWE because of what happened at the end of Monday Night Raw. Storyline, obviously. The announcers said that more details would be available on Smackdown so it appears that we’ll see or hear from them again more on WWE TV.
Edge and Christian will still be appearing on Smackdown because they were still “contractually obligated” to host the show.

that could end up being a good idea. they could lead their team against the authority. i think the authority needs to expand too. they should bring the ascension with them. have them say how the authority was the power behind them and what not.

* Roman Reigns vs. Rusev ended when Big Show came to the ring and Reigns hit him with a Superman punch. The match ends in DQ as Reigns and Show brawl at ringside. Show goes for a spear but Reigns moves and Show flies over the announce table. Reigns turns the announce table over on Show to end SmackDown.

Randy Orton Having Another Surgery?
Randy Orton is currently dealing with a deviated septum, which would be an injury to the nose. This is why Orton only worked short matches at weekend WWE live events and didn’t return on RAW.
Orton is going to have surgery to repair the injury soon and recovery time is only a few weeks.

man my dad thought id grow out of it lol. i was blessed with great insurance growing up and my dad was still a prick when it came to stuff like getting my tonsils removed. that would have helped my apnea. my septum was probably caused when i got hit with a bat in first grade lol. walked behind someone swinging hahaha

Kidd and Cesaro push
Over the next couple of weeks, you can expect to see a slight push for the thrown together tag team of Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro. However, do not be fooled into thinking that WWE is getting behind the two performers. The move is simply being done because management needs more depth in the tag team division. Kidd and Cesaro will be pushed just enough, so that they can put over another team. The belief is that the Ascension will be the beneficiary
