WWE did a stretcher job with Dean Ambrose at tonights WWE SmackDown tapings in Oklahoma City. WWE rarely does stretcher jobs unless a talent is really injured and being written off TV. Weve heard nothing about Ambrose being injured and its possible that this is just an angle to make him stronger for the match against Bray Wyatt at TLC.

Ambrose was scheduled to face United States Champion Rusev in a non-title match but it didnt happen. Ambrose ended up getting attacked by Wyatt on the ramp. Wyatt then beat Ambrose down with a steel chair and the steel steps. WWE trainers came out and checked on Ambrose before putting him in a neck brace and stretchering him away.

For what its worth, our correspondent noted that it was hard to tell if they were writing Ambrose off TV or not but at one point he was shown coherent and trying to get off the stretcher for a second. One would also assume that WWE would save something as big as an Ambrose injury angle for RAW. There was no mention of the TLC match with Wyatt and Ambrose.

Arrest Warrant Issued For Heath Slater

Atlanta police have issued a warrant for WWE Supersatar Heath Slater (real name Heath Miller) stemming from a 2011 incident at the WrestleMania 27 afterparty at the Hyatt Regency hotel.
 
According to Atlanta’s FOX-5 television, Corinne Oliver, who was working security at the event, accuses Slater of putting her in a chokehold and attempting to get her into an elevator, with the intent of dragging her back to his room. She alleges to have suffered damage to five vertebrae in her back.
 
Oliver reported the incident to her supervisor on the morning of the incident and then waited nearly three months to file a police report. She claims that she waited for her supervisors at Allied Barton Securities to file a police report, which they never did.
 
She has also claimed that other wrestlers witnessed the incident and did nothing to help her. The police report described the incident as a “simple assault/battery.”
WWE attorney Jerry McDevitt issued a statement after the charges were filed, stating that the charges were filed against Slater individually and not WWE.

Will WWE Continue the Guest General Manager Storyline?
As of last week, WWE was going with the idea that they will have a guest General Manager on RAW for a few more weeks.
No word yet on how much longer the guest SmackDown General Manager storyline will continue.

WWE has officially re-named this year’s TLC pay-per-view to promote the Steel Chairs Match between Big Show and Erick Rowan. They are now billing it as Tables, Ladders, Chairs & Stairs. Below is the updated logo
