Fans Upset During WWE SummerSlam Match

 
WWE received a lot of backlash from fans on social media during the Flag Match between Rusev and Jack Swagger at SummerSlam on Sunday when the American flag touched the ground during the pre-match confrontation. The incident was mentioned by JBL on commentary.

An urban legend is that The United States Flag Code states any flag that touches the ground should be burned but that is not true. However, it is considered disrespectful to the flag. One fan wrote on Twitter, "@WWE should be ashamed. Fake or not, you should NEVER allow our flag to touch the ground. Disrespectful, plain and simple."

WWE unsure of Roman Reigns
There is a little bit of a dilemma backstage in WWE right now when it comes to the Roman Reigns push. Management does not want to put the title on him just yet because they feel that it would be more effective to let him do it at Wrestlemania 31. However, he has gone pretty high up the card already, as Randy Orton is near the top of the ladder. Management will have to figure out what to do with him over the next several months.




Wyatt feuding with Sheamus
When Bray Wyatt was closing out his feud with John Cena, many wondered who WWE was going to pair him up with next. Fortunately for the company, Chris Jericho agreed to return and help keep Wyatt interesting. Their feud is about to end, so the question has popped up again. As of right now, it looks like WWE is leaning towards putting Wyatt together with Sheamus in a program.




 




Dolph Ziggler with Ric Flair
There are those that believe that WWE will be having Ric Flair managing Dolph Ziggler after all. Their interaction on Monday Night Raw might have been the seeds planted by the creative department. Apparently, Ziggler is not in the dog house with management any more. There's even talks that he might be elevated up the card into a feud with Randy Orton soon.
