Miz written off of television

Since his wedding to Maryse Ouellet is taking place later on this month, there is a very good chance that the current story line for the Miz is a way to write him off of television. Though he hasn't been penciled in for a match at Wrestlemania 30 yet, he's expected to return by then.

"Bellator has already expressed at least preliminary interest in him. He would be free and clear of any WWE contractual obligations in July....

I get the impression a part of him would like to do it the same way Batista did it as a bucket list thing. With Batista, it seemed on the surface to be a real bad risk, but in the end, he did it and wasnt hurt at all. With Punk, on the surface, it would seem the same thing. A theoretical big risk....

The key is hes 35 and his body is beaten up from years of pro wrestling. While he does train in fighting disciplines, he doesnt have the competition background at a high level in any fighting sport. That is very old to start out in unless you want to compete at the beginners level. Its also hard to say if he goes against someone legit and loses, how it would affect him for a WWE return, either with the fans, or with management. And Im not sure exactly what kind of challenge hed be up for."

PWInsider recently published a report stating that WWE creative was told that CM Punk left WWE due to a concussion, rather than being fed up with the company. The website reports that Punk did indeed pass an ImPACT on the day of his departure. However, Punk was heavily banged up from the 30-man Royal Rumble match, which saw him last over over 49 minutes, the most by any superstar.

During a recent WWE creative meeting over the weekend, WWE creative team members were told that Punk went home because he got his bell rung, presumably in the Royal Rumble match. Now, within WWE, the belief that Punk walked out due to his injury, rather than compensation, status, his presumed WrestleMania match Triple H, and all the other rumors that have surfaced, is present. Its possible that the belief has been passed down by Triple H or Vince McMahon, according to PWInsider.

Additionally, the website states that many people within WWE are in the dark regarding any kind of talks occurring between Punk and McMahon. Although, the feeling is that McMahon is under the impression that Punk left WWE due to his injury.

really doubt he just walked away because he was injured unless they're covering their asses and tried getting him to wrestle with a concussion and he said no.

Alberto Del Rio Leaving WWE

Alberto Del Rio has reportedly been letting it be know that once his contract with WWE is up, he will be leaving the company.

According to PWInsider, Del Rio hasn't been happy with the direction of his character. He was once a main event player on the SmackDown brand as a World Champion, and now he is being fed to Batista.

While the match between the two hasn't been officially announced, Batista vs. Del Rio will likely be added to the upcoming Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event.

Del Rio is 36-years-old and has several years of mileage on him. It’s believed that he’s been very good with his money and shouldn't be in any financial trouble once he departs from the organization.

Guess i was the only one to enjoy Del Rio lol..

Miz and Dolph Ziggler teaming up
Since the company has no interest in pushing them as singles performes, the idea being tossed around backstage right now has the Miz and Dolph Ziggler forming a tag team. WWE is also interested in giving them a gimmick where they both are disgruntled with the company

Christian retiring from WWE

There's some speculations going around about Christian retiring from WWE, as the former world heavyweight champion has mentioned "one more match" a couple of times on his Twitter account. It would not come as a shock to many backstage, as the injuries have been piling up as of late.

Curtis Axel frustrated with fans

Curtis Axel has been displaying more and more disdain towards fans who are asking him for autographs at inopportune moments. The WWE star recently stated that someone asked him to sign eight pictures at an airport at 4am.
