Brock Lesnar re-signs with WWE, will face Roman Reigns at 'Greatest Royal Rumble'

Lensar, WWE's universal champion, has spurned UFC after another flirtation with mixed martial arts

Less than 24 hours after defending the universal championship against Roman Reigns in a surprise finish to the main event of WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans, title holder Brock Lesnar has formally re-signed with WWE, spurning interest from UFC that would have seen him return to the Octagon. The length and specifics of Lesnar's new deal were not released by WWE as part of its announcement.

Lesnar, who has held the title for a full year after beating Goldberg for it at WrestleMania 33, will defend the championship against Reigns once again -- this time inside a steel cage in the main event of the Greatest Royal Rumble, a special event set to be held at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Friday, April 27 at noon ET.

WWE claims this will be Lesnar's next appearance, meaning he is not expected to appear this Monday night on Raw or at any shows before the big event. The Greatest Royal Rumble is set to stream live on WWE Network.

So we're just gonna do this again in three years when Brock's contract is up again?

The man certainly knows how to negotiate anytime they put Roman Reigns up against him.

Rousey obviously needs work but she did look pretty natural in there. Her movements didn't look forced, and she's pretty agile. I just watched the match, wasn't able to catch it last night

Oh yeah, I have no worries with her in ring skills. I think my biggest concern (mic work aside) comes from the fact that no one woman on that roster can realistically beat her.

Well, no woman is going to beat her for a long ass time. We'll see how quickly that gets old.

this and mic work for sure. last night was how nia should have been booked for a long time and idk how you can have her lose again or rousey lose. thats why dominate women are tricky.
