More news on #WWE attempting to buy out #RingOfHonor Wrestling

Despite the denials issued earlier by CBS and #ROH, the story (first reported by Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet) about WWE’s talks with Sinclair Broadcasting to buy Ring Of Honor are correct, according to Dave Meltzer.

Dave Meltzer wrote the following on The Wrestling Observer forum:

Let me clear this up again.

Satin’s article is correct.

Anything you hear publicly otherwise is as accurate as #UFC was only selling 15% and #TNA wasn’t negotiating to sell the company when we reported the Toby Keith story.

Like those stories, this is not a story I’m going to be wrong on no matter how many people publicly say so. There is no telling if a deal will be made, but what they are negotiating is to get tapes and get rid of competition.

Keep in mind that Meltzer reported on the UFC sale while people at UFC were issuing denials and he was also first to report on the sale talks for #Impact Wrestling when people at the
company were denying the story. He was also the first to report on TNA/Impact being booted from Spike TV and Destination America, despite their public denials.

Meltzer also noted that FloSports offered a lot less than the rumored $9 million figure floating around. That offer was for streaming rights for ROH programming. The WWE offer is to completely buy out the company and kill their competition.

Death at live #WWE show tonight in Portland

WWE held a House Show in Portland, Maine on Saturday, March 25th. At the start of the second match, a fan in the corner stands went down. EMTs cleared the area as much as possible and moved the middle male out of the stands to the closest flat area, in front of the handicap elevator.
They proceeded to administer chest compressions and did so for the length of two matches, about twenty minutes, before suddenly rushing away with the unidentified man on a stretcher. While the EMTs were working on the man, police checked the man's chair and around it. People in attendance thought they were looking for drug paraphernalia.
 Jeez

If you're gonna have a heart attack, might as well be at a WWE event with dozens of EMT's around.

Sucks if he died though
