They don't need both, but it really doesn't matter, because it doesn't actually help or hurt the show. They take up very little time. They're just there because the fans like them. You are complaining because you personally just don't like Daniel Bryan

Wrong. I'd prefer Bryan to Shane here actually for the Miz dynamic, and I love Shane. I just don't get the point of having two faces running the show. One is plenty

On raw, Steph and Foley both suck, but at least they don't have the exact same motives

I'd prefer just Bryan as well, but like I said, I really don't think having both there hurts the product or anything. Might be redundant, but fans do like him so if he's willing to show up, then let the fan see him. All he/they do is come on stage to make a match, or make one backstage.

It's like the thought process behind these idiotic three man booths, that they need a face AND a heel color commentator for the different dynamic to go along with the play by play guy. When in reality it just turns into those two idiots yelling at each other while the play by play guy tries to call the match. 
 
Bryan and Shane work together, they don't bicker and make everything annoying and a chore on the show.

PWInsider.com has confirmed that Rollins is currently down in Birmingham, Alabama being examined, so the injury is legitimate.  The severity of it cannot be confirmed at this time.
If Rollins is hurt to the point he cannot compete at Wrestlemania, there will obviously be a major change in plans for Triple H.
