Why? That's such a generic ass tag team. You can't really build any feuds with them because the only Rey Mysterio storylines possible are the "ultimate underdog" and "trying to unmask the masked man". I don't get what all the hype is over him.

They are trying to make sin cara get over with the fans by teaming with Mysterio, then after they lose the titles they would fued and have a match at Wrestlemania.

I hate how they're just pairing up the guys stuck in the mid card because they can't think of what to do with them.

As badass as Rhodes Scholars is for a tag name, they both should be in meaningful solo feuds.

Makes perfect sense, doesn't mean I agree with it though. Like I said, PTP has the potential to be the best tag team since Miz & Morrison. The WWE is holding them back for some joke of a storyline like Kane/Daniel Bryan. Might as well give Santino the WHC.

Picture this...Heyman, Lesnar (if they can get him to check his ego), and Punk "attack" Cena before HIAC. He can't wrestle so Foley goads Punk into wrestling Ryback to earn his respect. Punk cheats to beat Ryback. Continues to clamor about respect and Foley comes out again to confront him. Foley challenges him to a hardcore match at the next PPV and Punk accepts.

They have a crazy match, which Punk wins, and afterwards he starts to beat on Foley; Probably with a chair but it'd be great if it was a barbwire bat (wouldn't be a Foley match without it). Cena comes out to make the save and knocks Punk outside. He grabs the bat, helps Foley up, and invites Punk, who's made his way to the apron, into the ring to get some. He fakes coming in and Cena chases him away and then turns and hits Foley. Silence (and probably boos) in the arena.

Cut to Punk and Heyman (just assumed he'd be there anyway) completely shocked on the outside only for their faces to turn into evil smiles. Cut to black. WWE logo. End.

I mean that's like a vintage WWE storyline and I'd love to see it but I just don't think the WWE has the balls to turn Cena heel.

Because it wouldn't make sense.
We're talking about a guy that wouldn't even give in even when 7 or 8 people were beating his ass up for months. Talking about the Nexus.

Cena is not going to turn heel if there isn't another top guy on RAW ready to take his spot. With Cena heel, there would be NO main event face left on the RAW roster. If Punk, Lesnar, and Cena join forces, who the hell are they going to rally against? Kofi Kingston?



All that while it'd be a bad business decision as well. Cena still sells the most merch.
