There was a very scary moment tonight at #NXTFresno in a tag match where #AustinAries was downed after a kick to the eye by #ShinsukeNakamura. The ref threw up the dreaded "X" symbol and Aries was tended to by medics. His tag partner #SamoaJoe's towel was even used to clean up Aries' blood. The match was finished quickly after the accident took place.
 
Fans noted on twitter that Aries appeared to have a gash under his eye as well as that eye being blackened and swollen shut. Thankfully he was able to walk to the back on his own power. More on this story as it becomes available.
