He was calling Bryan a coward for not going back to wrestle on the Indies, is essentially the gist, since he said he would have came back if the WWE let him.

So good that I'm convinced that wasn't all scripted haha. 3 reasons:
1) saying old WWE style was soft, I doubt that was approved
2) Bryan saying "I would come back if they let me" after his retirement speech
3) Renee getting so flustered

Then again these are all reality tv stars we're talking about so probably 100% fake

I dont think there are any shoots these days. They might have improvised but I'm pretty sure they knew exactly what they were gonna talk about.
And it made Miz look good, which was the most important thing.

It was basically to pull viewers in to watch Talking Smack every week. Like before the Miz/Bryan segment. The Usos kinda trashed Roman because when they was affiliated with him they was getting booed as well.
