Reigns reportedly forced to apologize to locker room
Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com reports that Roman Reigns was ordered to go into the locker room last week before he was sent home and apologize to everyone. There were reportedly mixed reactions with some feeling that there was no need to humiliate Reigns but others felt it was justified. It appears that Mark Carrano was the person that told Reigns to apologize which would mean it came from Triple H and not Vince McMahon.
For those wondering, wrestlers that get suspended are not paid during the period of suspension. The only thing they get paid for during suspension are merchandise sales and royalties. Reigns’ suspension probably cost him somewhere in the $100,000 ballpark. Since he’s not missing any PPV events, that figure could’ve been even higher

Prince Puma (Ricochet) and Johnny Mundo wrestled at the Ultima Lucha 3 tapings on Sunday and the stipulation was that the loser would have to retire.
Puma won the Lucha Underground championship but Dario Cueto came out immediately afterwards and proclaimed that Pentagon would be cashing in the Gift of the Gods championship that grants you a shot at the Lucha Underground championship. The rules stipulate that the title opportunity must be granted with one-week advanced notice so that Cueto can promote it but they skipped that stipulation this time. Cueto said that he makes up the rules and the match was on. Puma lost the Lucha Underground title to Pentagon thanks to interference from Vampiro.
They did a big sendoff for Puma at the end of the show. Puma’s deal with LU doesn’t allow him to sign with WWE until these shows air so he will not debut with WWE until later this year or early 2017. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer radio that, unless something changes, he is likely headed to WWE. He is still taking independent bookings into the fall and he is expecting to work on some shows for New Japan Pro Wrestling into the winter.
