Anderson Silva needs to come out rocking against Chael. He got lucky last time with that submission at the end. This time he needs to have Chael figured out.

Not going to happen. Silva will only win by decision or unlikely KO. Chael’s chin has never been cracked and he’s been tested even by Silva.

Chael has an iron chin and the 2nd or 3rd best wrestling in the UFC. Silva’s TDD was terrible to begin with. No amount of training in a few months will amount to the ability to stop Chael’s double leg. You don’t just develop that high of skill that fast.


The best thing to happen for this division is Chael wins. Silva becomes beatable and we get to see Pt. 3. It also opens the division. Chael is NOT a better fighter than Silva, but he has a style that perfectly matches Silva’s weaknesses. If Chael wins and holds the title you could see it change hands with some very competitive matches that have been sorely lacking in MW division (and others).

- CM Punk and Lita were in attendance for last night’s UFC on FOX show from the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. The couple was seen sitting near the cage with other stars.

Punk attended last weekend’s UFC event also and will be attending the April 27th UFC 159 pay-per-view from New Jersey where his friend Chael Sonnen will take on Jon Jones.
On a related note, MMA veteran Mark Coleman was upset with Punk at last weekend’s UFC event. Because UFC producers decided to show Punk on TV instead of Coleman, Coleman became furious to the point he wanted to attack Punk and start a fight with him. Nothing came of it but the situation on Coleman’s side was serious enough that several people at the event were talking about it.

I think Melendez won the fight to be honest. He should get a rematch, it was closer than Edgar-Henderson at UFC 144.

yea, i think gilbert won 3 out of 2. and in all honesty he may have won 4 rounds. i know they give the champ the benefit of doubt but they need to stop doing that.

still going back to carwin/lesnar, carwin landed like 73 face shots and they didnt stop the fight and the round ended.
