Penn State is worthless

Only way OSU gets in is if Bama or Oklahoma lose today, and OSU gets the nod over Notre Dame because of history.

So Oklahoma is in
Big Ten winner is in
Committee won't let an SEC team not be in
Comes down to Clemson or Ohio State if they lose imo

Alabama hasn't beaten a top 20 team

They've beaten six top 20 teams at the time of the wins, though.  When teams lose, they drop in the rankings.  I don't think it's entirely fair to completely devalue a win based on how that team responds to losing.

The SEC bias gets old, but the anti-SEC brigade is just as annoying sometimes.

Preseason college rankings are the most speculative thing in all of sports. When a team is overrated to start the year, and precedes to fall out of the rankings as the season goes on, how can you value this as a top 20 win?

When you lose to a good team, such as Alabama, you're only going to drop a few spots in the rankings. What a team does from there is up to them. Georgia and LSU were both highly overrated at the time they played Alabama. So why should we value those wins?
