I don't get why they can't just overturn that and give Duke the win. This is different than just a really late call or mistake that costs a team with some time on the clock. Clock had expired by the time he should have been ruled down. There isn't much debate there. There is no possible way Miami could have won after that, compared to maybe a poor ruling that leaves a couple seconds on the board where something feasibly could happen, even if it isn't realistic. This seems pretty cut and dry to me.
lol, these shit birds on ESPN are still talking about the bad officiating on the return.
How about we look at Duke's final possession? Let's look at all the absolute horse shit pass interference calls on the final TD drive? How about we look at the non-TD on the last play?
No? That just doesn't fit the narrative does it?
Man, if Duke played in the SEC, this would probably go to the supreme court.
I'm not going to argue something that happened 15+ years ago, but the still images are so incredibly deceiving on that last play. You have to actually watch the footage to see how horrific that call was.
Hell if I know. I was in like 6th or 7th grade when that happened. I didn't give a shit about sports back then. It might as well have been 50 years ago.
