I think it says something about his confidence in his arm after the injury if anything, and maybe knows his future is at WR/HB in the NFL.

The QB debates at OSU next year are going to be fairly hilarious when Cardale Jones wins the championship for OSU. 
 
Braxton Miller, a guy who might have won the Heisman last year if he didn't miss a few games, and was a pre-season Heisman candidate before his injury
 
JT Barrett, broke Braxton Miller's school record for TDs in a single season, and led the entire nation in TDs
 
Cardale Jones, wins the big ten conference championship, and wins the playoff
 
Torrance Gibson, top QB recruit coming in.

They actually play a team with somewhat of a pulse in week one, too.  Urban Meyer would never discipline his athletes.  He's trying to tank the VT game so he can win another title.
