Supposedly JVR for Luke Schenn was just about a done deal until JVR was diagnosed with a concussion. Glad that trade didn't get done. I have no idea what we would offer though because I feel like we can't trade JVR. He just signed a big extension with us and it is not a good look when you trade guys who have just committed themselves to your franchise for a long period of time. Suter is at the top of our list and we won't do anything without an extension so looks like we'll have to wait until closer to the deadline. I'm confident that the two teams could work out a good deal, we always do.

Just like back in the Day when we got Forsberg from you guys, and another time where we gave you guys Hartnell and Timmonen. We got pretty good trading history

I don't see how the Flyers can trade for Suter w/o giving up JVR. At least, I don't think there's anyone else that fits better.

Yeah and even when we got the rights to Hamhuis from you guys. It'll be interesting to see what names start getting thrown around on our side when things heat up between us.
