We could take this division pretty hard if we beat the Twins like we should.

Mets game was fun, although they lost. I'll post some pictures when I get the chance.

Stanton is a beast. from down here, no wonder. he actually went to my rival HS. graduated a year before. I didnt see him play though because no one told me that school had a man beast >.<
since then i've been told "oh yeah Stanton. he was sick"

3R HR today
then Josh Johnson just did his thing. great pitcher.
made the game quick. Dodgers had no shot at all

We're starting to pull away now, a repeat is looking more possible by the day.

We have a bunch of guys out who haven't contributed much to the team....[/sarcastic comment referring to your bitching about losing "key" guys earlier in the season. In actuality, we are missing some key guys but that's beside the point.]

You're only 2 games ahead of the Rays and 4.5 on the Sox, that's hardly pulling away

Too bad. Looks like Kevin Youseless lost to the much superior Nick "Swishalicious" Swisher in the final ballot. The Sux can't seem to win at anything lately while we continue to pull away.

Clayton Kershaw = Underrated.

Raffy Furcal SHOULD BE AN ALL-STAR
what an absolute snub.
you guys remember that Josh Hamilton tear in June?
thats Raffy the past 3 weeks, but the leadoff version

he's hitting like 500
he's scored a run in 13/14 games.
2 hits every night
he's hitting homers. i think 4 or 5
beast

Yankees close to acquiring Cliff Lee.. Hopefully he can get his ring, one of the more deserving players in the league.

I seriously DO NOT want the Yankees to get Cliff Lee. I want him to go to the Mets, but would obviously settle with anyone else, but the Yankees.

A.J. to the pen possibly? Javy's been doing better lately so maybe we stick with him. But I'd rather pass on Lee if it means that we are giving up Montero, since we can just sign Lee in the off-season.

Heard they were going to move Vazquez if they get Lee

I wouldn't be surprised to see Hughes go back to the bullpen, he's been struggling a lot lately.

edit: or what baggs said

Joe's been screwing up Hughes with the innings limit just like he did with Joba last year. Hughes was our best reliever outside of Rivera last year, but I wonder who would take Javy's contract...
