It seems we have a miracle worker as a pitching coach in the AAA, so it needs to be done lol.

Dontrelle never went to the AAA, and was a better pitcher than half of our staff this season really lol.

I'm not ready to give up on Porcello yet, just hope he gets his crap together. If they call him down who are they going to put in his place??? He's just in a funk right now, he'll be back.

He's been in a funk the whole season.

I wouldn't mind Bonine taking his spot.
Maybe Enrique Gonzalez or Ryan Ketchner. Both pitching relatively well in AAA. Just until Porcello got back on track.

He pitched GREAT against the Yankees, just haven't seen it since. I don't know, I'm sure they will give him a few more chances to redeem himself before they send down someone like that.

Tigers need to stay in the race, they should maybe give him one more start before they try someone else.

One more is fair enough... Definitely don't want to ruin his confidence, that wouldn't be good either. 1-2 more is fair enough imo. He's young, with a lot of potential. Sophomore slump I guess. Twins are pulling away more and more, Tigers better not get too far behind.

So I just found out the Ricky Romero's brother was drafted by the Jays in the 43rd round. Nice.

of course it does

i remember Preston Mattingly was drafted to the Dodgers a few years ago. he was supposed to be a good SS, but he's not

and there's countless others.

it just seems like more this year. i mean, what are the odds that many 1st sons/brothers are in a certain draft at one time?

oh yeah, no one realizes this, but the Dodgers have the best record in the NL
and 3rd in MLB behind the Yanks/Rays

I guess, I wonder how the negotiations work for the signing bonus with the relatives. Do they give them more money or less?

Most of them were drafted in the late rounds and don't sign though lol. You never know what they're gonna be like though.

Leyland's kid was an 8th round pick, so he has to be at least decent.

stupid ass Adam Wainwright
If the stupid Dodgers just K'd two less times tonight, Kershaw is leading MLB in K's

90 already is awesome.
Wainwright has 91
but Kershaw has only pitches 77 innings, as opposed to Wainwright's 90

stupid Ludwick killed us. 3R HR today, 2 the other day

I need Kershaw to have a sub 3 ERA so he has a chance at Anaheim!
