AI for Billups, McDyess (not likely to stay with Denver) and other small pieces.

Good move for both teams.

This is a old rumor, I thought it was shot down.
I'm fine with it, Billups is better for our team but AI will help with the future(cap wise).
Better for Denver but we don't lose any ground in the east IMO.

Also if it happens, will Stuck change his number for AI?

From:need4sheed.com
"The Detroit Pistons have reached a tentative agreement to trade Chauncey Billups and Antonio McDyess to the Denver Nuggets for Allen Iverson. Neither player was at this morning’s shoot-around. Team officials said that more information would be forthcoming later today.”
Chaunceyyyyyyyy B B B B B buh bye. I'll miss him in the pistons Red, blue and white.

Honestly I dont understand the trade for Detroit, I understand they need a go to scorer but if I were a Pistons fan, I would have much rather given up Rip.

We'll see how it plays out.

Billups is on the decline and makes 10+ a year.
Ill take AI over that.
He will help, atleast we won't get weaker, Dyess will be back to us most likley.

Chauncey was really fallin off, he became cold at the times we needed him the most.

And we all know what Ivo gives us.
A player that will score when we need it.
This is the best team he's been on, lets just see if he uses it how it should be used.
I really think we got just that much better.

I'm likin this deal. Billups is on the decline like you guys said. AI gives us the clutch scorer we've been lackin. I"d rather not have AI run the point but what else could we do? Move Tay to the bench and have Stuckey run the point? I don't think that would happen.

Hopefully McDyess does come back to Detroit, I like what he brings off the bench.

Stuckey
Ivo
Tay
Amir
Sheed

Rip off the bench

OR

Stuckey
Ivo
Rip
Amir
Sheed

Tay off the bench

IF Rip can handle it I think he would be insane off the bench. A total scoring maniac.

I was talkin about the second option you posted. I see that happenin before the first one. I don't think Rip would like coming off the bench.

I think it would most likely be this lineup

C - Sheed
PF - Johnson
SF - Prince
SG - Rip
PG - Iverson

If this goes down, we might end up trading Rip or Tay.

Yeah that's what I was thinking but I'd rather have Stuckey running the point the AI. I don't see AI coming into a new system and he runs the point for us. If Stuckey doesn't run the point then I see Prince running the offense for us.

This could be good for Rodney Stuckey future with taking what he learned from Chauncey and what he is gonna learn from A.I. eventually.

Yep.
Score and pass, finish at the rim, and some defense.

Well, if the Pistons don't get McDyess back it could hurt in the long run, I already thought they didn't have much with there big men. And with basically only Amir, Kwame and Sheed, it could hurt the Pistons against teams that like to drive, and just pound it inside.
