Exactly lol. Act like not getting Nnamdi is going to be a travesty lol.
I'll gladly take Cromartie.
haha i know right? This isn't Madden 11.

Plus the Jets have to first worry about retaining their WRs. Both Edwards and Holmes can be Free Agents.

Take the time to read what I said, not skim, not browse...but read it.

Then explain to me where I claim Woodson was a huge bust after his stint in Oakland.
probably where you said he was regarded as a huge bust back then.

Why do the Jets have to "better do it."
Is it a need for them to have the best 2 CB's in the league?
It's obviously not a need, but when you have the opportunity to do it, why the hell wouldn't you do it? Did the Phillies just sit there and say, "Well, we already have one of the best rotations in the league, let's stick with what we got and not go after Cliff Lee." No, they went and got Cliff Lee and further improved one of their biggest strengths.

Cromartie is a free agent at the end of this season, I don't think we re-sign him. Cromartie is a decent CB, but he's gotten beat a lot this year.

Edwards and Holmes are both FAs, but we're likely to only re-sign one of them. And it'll probably be Holmes.

I'll give you Cromartie if you give us Calvin Johnson :p

Every team in the league has the opportunity to sign him though. A lot with a much bigger need at CB than the Jets lol.

Is "huge bust back then" & "huge bust after his stint in Oakland" the the same? No. Whisper clearly read every 3rd word of my post and then hit the reply button.

And no, Asomugha is not going to be a Jet. The Jets might make a call to his agent, (due diligence) but I'd expect them to work with re-signing Cromartie...should they even bother. They drafted Kyle Wilson for a reason.

And yes, Jet fans are starting to think like we Yankee fans do. Any big name that is or may on the market...we start hearing all about how this person would look in green. Asomugha isn't close-to-washed up either...meaning he's not on Tanenbaum's radar. And hell no, you don't just sign Asomugha for the fuck of it BC. Do I even have to elaborate on how your comparing a 5-man baseball rotation to an NFL defense doesn't make any sense?

Wait a minute, when was Woodson EVER even considered a bust in Oakland? Regardless of whether he's not half the player he was in Oaktown compared to today, dude made a big impact once he entered the league. Defensive rookie of the year, made the pro bowl for four straight years since he entered, then that's when injuries got the better of him the rest of his time in Oakland, and even then he was still considered a franchise player. Where does this talk about him being a bust even come in?

LOL, Woodson did not play well with the Raiders at all...and he definitely didn't give fuck. He half-assed games, he missed team meetings, and wa infamous for sitting out practices with "nagging" injuries. Woodson was drafted with high expectations and pretty much Randy Moss'd his way through Oakland. Matter of fact, when Woodson left the Raiders, the only team that gave him any interest was Green Bay. I'd have to find the interview he gave but even Woodson admitted that it was Green Bay or Bust, at that point in his career.

Making the Pro Bowl doesn't mean anything either. Its obvious that players who have average seasons win a spot via popularity. 2 good seasons in Oakland, the rest was garbage.

Lets be realistic. He will be a Jet, hes been linked to there since last offseason. Also, the Texans should be a major runner up, since they need the biggest help at CB.

He gone.

Hawk Harrelson/

He'll get paid large. Not sure where he'll end up at, but he should choose wisely as it will most likely be his last big $ deal and he will still be at the top of his skill set.

How could you let your best player go? *Facepalm*
People said the same thing about the Titans with Haynesworth, but think of it like this.

The Raiders will probably get a 2nd/3rd compensation pick for Nnamdi. Also hes getting up there in age and hes getting very expensive, hes not a real big playmaker, doesn't get alot of INTs.. but he is shutdown. You can make a case for both sides.

Does Carr have any experience at safety? if he did I think he'd be better than mcgraw but idk. them and Berry at safety would be beast though.

Nope Carr doesn't have any. We're gonna have to resign dude...and go backup safety in draft or facy. We wont make a play for Nmandi though. The staff is high on Javier.

Yeah I knew that we weren't gonna try for him, it would be awesome though. One of the best corners, and one of the best young corners
