Since the render is 2000 by 3000 pixels and I can't upload it anywhere, I need suggestions on where I can upload it...

Might want to make it smaller since no one will use the full size of it.

That's the white stretchy stuff on his mask. By the way, I scanned this off The Hockey News and most of the background on the left was dark, so it was hard doing the cage.

I'm not calling you a liar but can you post the original?

there's too much BG, there's a thin line through the whole cut

Yes. But since the original was 2000 by 3000 pixels, it didn't do much help. I just resized it and I tried defringing after and it didn't do too much. As you can see from the original picture, it was pretty hard for me to cut the cage since the background was dark.

How close do you zoom in?

For pics with a lot of dark on dark I usually do a levels layer right above it before I start cutting to lighten it.

yeah facemasks are hard to do, especially when it's weird lighting like that. I would say part of his facemask is black because of the lighting. Just try to do what you think looks good.

I tend to steer away from goalies for that reason, although sometimes I'm a glutton for punishment. lol
