I'm so proud of myself for watching at least some of every game so far this season :)

Ya same. I'm making good on my vow to be a better NHL fan this season. I've watched every game, but the fact that they are probably about to be 4-1-1 has certainly helped.

Datsyuk just had the best scoring opportunity on Jimmy Howard so far in this game. No idea what happened there, it looked like Datsyuk forgot what end of the ice he was on and backhanded it right at Howard.

Used to be a giant hockey fan prior to the lockout. Starting to regain that "love" for the game.

Jimmy has looked fantastic to this point though.

Lmao. What a shitty call to take away such a dirty goal from Datsyuk.

Ey, these Detroit fans...they're about to hijack the NHL thread like they did with the MLB one

That was how you always scored on NHL 94 on Sega. Angled across in front of the goal, suddenly spun and whipped that shit in. So sad it was called off.

Basically. You better hope the Pistons don't start 8-3.

Heh, I'm still gonna spam up the NBA thread regardless of how bad they will be.

I rarely enter the NBA one anyway but there's enough fans of that sport (and NFL) that it doesn't become as noticeable as the other two.

Honestly you should be happy to see people talking in this thread at all.

Can't really say too much here. My knowledge for the NHL isn't nearly what it is for the MLB.... yet

Just gonna try to enjoy talking the game with my buds.

Alright, before we go any further, I'm just gonna make sure you know what I said was sarcasm.

Word this thread has 1/5 of the pages as it had all of last year, after only a couple weeks of the season started.

OK now I'm extra pissed about that goal being waved off.
