NFL's Deal with Bose Prohibits Players from Wearing 'Beats by Dre' Headphones

It has nothing to do with the NFL not wanting players to wear competition's head phones, it has to do with Bose paying a lot of money to be an NFL sponsor, and they don't want players wearing beats, as it defeats the purpose of their sponsorship.

I get that and understand they need to wear boss headphones when in per game.  NFL players are employees of the NFL and need to follow what they ask, but when a chop block gets fined less then what happened to Kap, then thats an issue.

The NFL fined Mike Lockley 20k back in 2011 for an illegal hit in the preseason.
 
Lockley was a UDFA making the league minimum.
