Sorry, I was very vague. Palmer is already on my team, hes my backup.

Keep both, Palmer is old and always an injury candidate. Play the hot hand and then unload one later in the year. By then Luck should be fine, and the one you move is Palmer.

He's out for another 10 games or so. In a non-IR league it's not a bad move if you need a roster spot

I'm still holding onto him but I've thought about dropping him

You can swap out bottom roster guys week by week, it is not going to make a huge difference, but having a star player suddenly be active on your team in week 10 can make a season.

I mean if you can't make the playoffs because your win total is too low, having Dez on your roster for Week 14 is pointless

If you're depending that much on your last roster spot, which isn't gonna produce anyway, then yea, you're cooked regardless, but I'd still rather keep Dez if I do turn out to be a playoff team.

What sucks about that is you've got two dudes on the same team. I don't think you can pass up Brandin Cooks based on what he can potentially do each and every week, but Snead has earned Brees' trust, so this is a tougher call than you'd expect.
 
Pick up Stefon Diggs off the waiver wire. Charles Johnson is likely out again and Mike Wallace isn't practicing as of yet. 
 
Also, Kamar Aiken has established himself is Flacco's favorite target--he might be available.
