Nets Identify Brian Shaw As Lead Coaching Candidate
The Brooklyn Nets have identified Brian Shaw as a leading candidate to become their next head coach.

Shaw is currently an assistant coach with the Indiana Pacers.

Shaw has been a strong candidate for several head coaching vacancies in recent seasons.

I think Brian Shaw is the perfect coach for that roster. If they move Kris Humphries somewhere? God knows where and move Blatche into the starting PF position... Where he is a proficient passing PF with a decent inside/midrange game and develop Marshon Brooks... Who quite frankly should've been starting for this team versus Joe Johnson who's on the decline... Shaw developed Stephenson great so Brooks shouldn't too hard of a player to help grow into his potential. Problem is Shaw's system really doesnt fit Deron Williams, be interesting how he's work the triangle around a PG versus a more dominating inside to outside SG... Since the point usually sags into the corner or plays as a release on the top of the key.

True. JJ can play the point forward and still know down the corner three when open

I agree, Shaw has to get a job and this offseason should be it, either Brooklyn or LAC. He'd be a damn good fit with Brooklyn and get a great roster to start out with.
