Best college team you've ever seen? They were probably the best team that year but '11 Duke (when healthy), '09 UNC, '06/'07 FLA, '05 UNC, '05 ILL, '04 CONN are all way better teams in the past 9 years or so.

'05 Illinois, that squad was ruthless. That Arizona comeback was one of the best things I've seen.

Never underestimate the benefit of having a dominant college big man. Some just can't be stopped. Sean May was one of them. I wish they would've won too though. Deron williams was cold blooded and Dee Brown was electric.

For what it's worth, if anyone here cares about kenpom's ratings (which started in 02-03), no team has ever won the championship without a Top 20 Offense AND Defense according to kenpom.

As of now, the following teams have that:

- Florida
- Louisville
- Indiana
- Duke
- Syracuse
- Kansas
- Ohio State
