Acting like it's a guarantee that you're going to go 4-0 against conference opponents in the top 25 is pretty stupid.
As is saying that Butler is better than NC State lol.

And btw, Ohio State 28, Michigan 8

Really making their case for the #1 team in the country ;)

I didn't... they play Ohio St. and Michigan twice... I think we could beat one of those two teams twice but it is going to be tough on the road.

No one's acting like Indiana isn't one of the best teams in the country though Sabbath. What I'm debating is that as of right now they don't deserve to be ranked #1 in the country (Duke, Louisville, Michigan, and Kansas all have better resumes)

Strictly, on resume alone no. But if you take into consideration the facts they started #1, have the highest ppg in the country, 11th highest rpg, 5th highest fg%, 7th highest opposing fg% defense, I'll make their case every time.

Obviously, if Michigan wins though they are the #1. I'd like to see where the coaches put them, but I'm not going to hold G'town or UNC against IU. They scheduled UNC when they were ranked a top quality program and school. It's not our fault they suck this year.

And as for Butler, they are among the best basketball programs in the country. NCAA title games 2 out of the last 3 years and consistently #1 in their conference and ranked in the top 20 annually. It really is not a bad loss at all by any means.

To your first point: What does Indiana being preseason #1 have to do with anything? All that is based on is hype. We now have two months of concrete results to base the rankings off of; the preaseason polls mean nothing.

As for Butler, I never said it's a bad loss. But losing on a neutral court to Butler is worse than losing AT NC State. Butler also was not an NCAA Tournament team last year, and they aren't consistently #1 in their conference anymore because they just switched conferences (had to nitpick there).

Neutral court? the game was in Indianapolis!!!!!!!! I actually thought Butler made it last year too, but they are always a great squad. I honestly think Duke is set-up for ending the year as #1 cuz the B10 is going to be crazy this year.

So how is that not a neutral court? Bloomington is an hour away from Indianapolis and there were more IU fans in the arena than Butler fans. Indiana is the state school.

Our half court offense is really bad, and if we make it a running game, Michigan wins easily.

Gotta wonder what happens if we didn't chuck moronic 3's down the stretch of a close game.
