Who is Landry Fields??
A guy that was picked 2nd round by the Knicks. His hustle is what makes him good. He is also smart. He doesn't make rookie mistakes. He doesn't take horrible shots. His nickname is "SMOOTH" here in NY lol. Overall he's pretty decent.

Hey, hey, hey, question.

When a player is playing some tough on-ball D', and he slaps the ball away from who he's guarding, but he doesn't come up with the ball, someone else on his team does... who gets credited with the steal? Is it the guy that slapped it away or the guy that was just in the right place at the right time?

I've actually never really known this...

Kinda like when a player blocks a shot out of the air, but he doesn't slap it away, he literally just takes the ball out of the air and pulls it down like a rebound. So would that be a block or a steal?

Curious questions.

Guy in the right place
I'm not sure (my guess would be a block)

The teammate who gets the ball is the one that gets credited with the steal. The person who knocks it away doesn't.

TWill and Mr. ballin are both right i think Whisper

person who takes the ball after it was knocked, and the snatched shot in mid air is a blocked shot

Almost all LA based Lakers fans also root for the Clippers when there's no Lakers game going on. I do too.

Also, thanks guys. Geez, all I know about basketball and I don't even know those two simple things.

J-Smoove Dropped a triple double tonight....

and Marvin Williams continues to surprise me with his play this year. He's getting back into the rhythm he had starting the season before that knee injury

Alonzo Gee getting the start for the Wiz. Nice! John Wall needs to get healthy and stay healthy. Gilbert is once again proving he is still legit.
