“Sometimes the best trades are the ones you don’t make,‘’ Johnson said at practice today. "And that prospective trade that was reported (in January) where we were going to supposedly lose basically eight players (and get back Anthony, Billups and Detroit’s Richard Hamilton), man that would have really gutted our team. So we’re glad that that didn’t happen."

-Avery Johnson

Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling said during Elgin Baylor’s wrongful termination civil trial Tuesday that he didn’t know the accomplished basketball pedigree of his former general manager before hiring Baylor as vice president of player personnel in 1986, according to a Los Angeles Times report.

“I didn’t know [about] that,” Sterling said, according to the newspaper. “I hired him for $3,000 a month. I didn’t really know what his role was. … He was working in a mail-order company back then.” Baylor, who is 76, claimed he was “grossly underpaid during his tenure with the Clippers.”

D-Wade swatted a shot like 15 rows back a little bit ago too. Two top 10 plays lol

We need to pick it up though, we need to keep this win streak going and ride a hot streak into the playoffs

Miami is getting screwed by refs, but regardless of those calls, they were gonna lose anyways.

How? We're down by 9 with 3 minutes to go. Game is far from over

Basically, but we could get hot from 3 and come back, not likely though
