i really feel bad for antawn jamison, dude is always on bad teams. that cavs team just sucks, they should be better then this but they just play so poorly. man.

I'd rather be really bad, then hopelessly mediocre, so whatever. Jamison is almost un tradeable as well, he comes up hobbling at least once a game.

blake in college and blake now are two completely different animals. he's improved vastly from his days at OU

back to Jimmer, he's not athletic at all. and he's slow
he's going to have to play point in the nba and he wont be able to, not in todays guard driven league

that problem of a crossover is a problem in college, but it wont be against CP, Deron, Russ, Rose, etc. these guys are too big and strong
he's a nice college scorer. im not hating on him, im not rooting for him to fail. i dont necessarily think he'll be the new adam morrison and vanish either

he'll get a shot and might be able to make it in an uptempo system where defense doesnt matter as much, or as an eddie house/jason terry type and come in for some instant offense

he can shoot, he'll be fine. Morrison got hurt and never found his shot again otherwise he'd still be in the league. maybe he'll surface next year

i dont like the JJ comparisons either. Redick is at least 6'4 and able to play some defense. not great, but not a stiff either. he also has ok speed
steph curry is a better ball handler/passer, and big enough and fast enough to at least attempt guarding pg's. longer arms to get steals, etc

Blake is damn near the same player he was at OU....

i think he can be eddie house, you're the one who said i was hating lol

eddie house is a great shooter and when he gets hot, is an absolute problem

house is faster. cant dribble, isnt athletic either
jimmer is slow and not very athletic. it works in college, but wont in the nba. eddie house was the one dropping 60 in college.

he's going to have to get used to knocking the corner 3. but i need more than just shooting. eddie house can get in the passing lanes and steal a ball here and there. and even though he can shoot, he's on a new team every year

just a different NBA. tons of great small guards. need to do more than be one dimensional because you're easily replaced

we'll see. i say enjoy him now

Eddie House only averaged 23 in his last year in college, Jimmer is already past that.

I don't think Jimmer is one dimensional if you actually watch the game, he is a really smart player, he can find the open man. He can drive to the hoop and finish with either hand. Sure he's not fast, but he still is running past his defenders.

Jimmer was highly recruited by Syracuse, Wake Forest, NC State, Seton Hall, West Virginia, VT, Penn St, if only he would of went to one of those places...what people would be saying.

i like fredette. great shooter. that alone will get him some playing time somewhere
he seems like a hard worker and he's going to have to work hard on his defense. but even then, i dont think he'll ever be a good defender. he's never played D in his life. going to be hard to learn playing against the quickest and biggest guys he's ever played against.

but i just think he's really lacking in the speed/athleticism department to truly excell. you dont have to be athletic as a big, but the guards in todays NBA are just unreal.

I think teams are seeing the Spurs and Gary Neal and will see if he can be that. yeah Neal is quick, but all he does is chuck 3's playing 19 mins a game (he averages 4 3's a game lol).

I think you are forgetting that Jimmer has the same ability as any other NBA player that joins the league, and that is to get more athletic and faster..
